Fender Japan ST-62 Stratocaster with Custom Shop Texas Specials 1993
Here we have a gorgeous lake placid blue '62 Fender Japan Strat. Made in Japan (N serial: 1993-1994). Stratocaster 1962 model with spaghetti logo, small head and rosewood fingerboard. The pickups have been upgraded to Texas Special made by Custom Shop, not the Texas Special originally attached to Fender Japan. Also, the pot and condenser have been changed (CTS / Orange Drop). Pickup switching is standard, but the tone works for the front and rear.
There are a reasonable amount of small knocks and scratches to the body, as you'd expect with its age but it really is in fantastic shape. A nice light natural relic. Perfect.
We have given this a full pro setup and it absolutely sings. The neck is dead straight and truss rod is working fine. The radius is 7.25" and a is a medium C. The frets have been levelled, dressed and polished. The electrics have been carefully checked and lubricated. This is ready to go!
