Fender Japan Jaguar CIJ Kurt Cobain Mod Purple Sparkle Over Sunburst Heavy Relic
A Kurt Cobain Jag is a firm favorite at Noizemaker HQ and this one is a stunner. Purple sparkle over 3TSB. So rad. This is a custom build with our partners Fern evergreen guitars. This started life as a 2002 CIJ Jaguar and has been converted to the Kurt Cobain spec. We completed the full rewiring, adding the extra vol and the 3 way switch. The pickups are the same as the Mexican NOS (Dimarzio DP103 PAF in the neck, Super Distortion in the bridge.
We spend a LOT of time making sure these relics play as good as they look.
This Jag has had a full refret with Jumbo frets with bullet ends. We added a custom bone nut too. This has had a full pro setup so is ready to go.
