Greco Explorer 1984 Made in Japan Custom relic "Guitar Device" Kahler
Here we have a vintage Made in Japan Greco explorer. This guitar is a relic of a bygone era of hairspray and spandex, and we absolutely love it. It has been refinished in nitrocellulose lacquer and relic'd by our partner company Fern Evergreen guitars.
This guitar was built in 1984 in Japan by Greco and has some seriously premium features. For starters it features a Kahler bridge system and locking nut, making it perfect and reliable for all your chugging thrash needs as well as two handed tapping and legato runs, and weighing in at only 7.18lbs this guitar is going to keep up with you all night long.
This guitar has been given a light relic by the master that is Fern, meaning it has general play wear, tarnishing and honest looking player, like its been through the ringer on the heavy metal club circuit but still perished and loved as it should have been. Equipped with a beautiful par of Maxon Humbuckers, this guitar sounds even better than it looks if that was at all possible. With a comfortable "C" shape neck profile and 12" radius whats stopping you? C'mon... break out the spandex!
We have given this a full pro setup and it sounds wonderful. The neck is dead straight and truss rod is working fine. The electrics have been carefully checked and lubricated. This is ready to go!
