Ibanez Japan AR300 Artist CIJ Oct 1981 Fujigen Cherry Sunburst Flame Maple
Here we have a gorgeous Ibanez Japan AR300 Artist. This guitar was built in Oct, 1981 in the infamous Fujigen factory. The AR300 features a dish carved flame maple top with multi-binding on a double-cutaway mahogany body mated to a set-in three-piece maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar bridge with embedded sustain block and tailpiece and VelveTune machine heads. Each pickup has a Tri-sound switch with three pickup settings: humbucker, single-coil or reverse phase.
This one is in top condition for it's age, it looks absolutely stunning! there are minor marks to the body as you'd expect but the neck is clean and the ebony board is in remarkable shape.
We have given this a full pro setup. The neck is dead straight and truss rod is working fine. The radius is 12". The frets have been levelled, dressed and polished. The electrics have been carefully checked and lubricated. This is ready to go!
